Happy 18 months

Owen - You are a very happy and extremely active child. You are no longer the laid back kid we thought you were going to be. You are really starting to talk and repeat things we say. Just the other day I was putting you in timeout and was counting 1-2 and you said "two"..what a stinker! You give kisses when you feel like it. You are very abrupt and knock you sister over constantly! You love to climb on the furniture and anything else! You have horrible allergies already and you absolutely adore buddy the cat- we are hoping you are not allergic to him!! You say "buddy" no less than 20 times a day. Some of your favorite words to say are: buddy, mama, dada, dog, bus, bubble, baby,please, cookie, cracker, sit, grape, truck and you are just starting to say Kennedy. You are starting to become quite the picky eater. You only like bananas when they are still a bit green. You don't care much typical "dinner" food. You would prefer to have chips, cheese and corn. You are a caring, sweet and happy boy when you feel well and you want to be. Some of you favorite activities are running away from mom, swinging at the park, going down the slide and cuddling with buddy. You also enjoy reading books and could probably sit for 20 minutes if there was not much else to distract you. You love your blue blanket and can't sleep without it! You have the cutest little chubby feet and your toes are scrunched together and I just LOVE them. You are an amazing little man and can't wait to see what the future holds for you!

Kennedy: You are the sweetest and caring little girl. You are constantly worried about Owen. If he is still sleeping when you wake up and you hear the quietest little peep you say "Owen". Anytime we get a snack like cheese (your favorite) I give you a piece and you raise your other hand and say "Owen". You LOVE bubbles and playing with suds. You are no longer really fond of bath time. You enjoy playing but hate getting your hair or body washed. You love to eat and enjoy most food however, you don't like to be in your highchair long. You get timeouts at least once or twice a day for playing in Lola's food and water even though it is only out for about 3 minutes a day. You love to play with your "baby" doll. You are very detailed and enjoy playing with magna doodle toy. You are a very active girl and want to constantly be doing something...you don't sit to finish a book. You are very interested in playing with mommy's purse and wallet. Some of your favorite words are: tickle-tickle-tickle, bunny, cookie, grape, apple, Owen, mama, dada, Lola, buddy, grandpa, open, bubbles and outside. You have quite the vocabulary. You love to cuddle but only for a fast few seconds. We love you to pieces!
