Whew...what a week!! We met some friends down at Tulip time on Wednesday for some junk food and fun. The kids had a great time (sorry no pics). On Thursday we met friends for the children parade. Owen and Kennedy had a great time. They especially loved all the music from the marching bands.

On Thursday night we had Vera and Finn over to play so their mom and dad could celebrate their 5 year anniversary! Happy Anniversary Bob and Beth!! We LOVED having them over. The kids played very well together. Vera loves to be tickled and Kennedy loves to tickle so it was a match made in heaven. Here we are enjoying a book.

Saturday night we had Jackson's first Birthday party. Owen and Kennedy were beyond controllable and made the evening very stressful for Jeremiah and I. The birthday party was so cute they did a wonderful job planning and decorating. The food was great and they even had a sandbox for the kids to play in (or eat in Kennedy's case). Sorry Owen and Kennedy were just not in the mood to sit or behave during the party we hope we didn't ruin the party for everyone else!
Mother's day was great. Jeremiah's parents came over to watch Owen and Kennedy so we could go to church without putting them in nursery. Afterward we had a good Mother's day dinner with Jeremiah's parents. In the afternoon I got a good nap before Jeremiah had to go to bed for the day before going to work so that was wonderful. My parents went to Chicago this weekend but they got home in time for supper. So the kids and , I headed over there to celebrate with my mom. We walked to the ice cream shop for dessert, the kids love being pulled in the wagon by grandpa. I was going to meet some girl friends in Saugatuk for dinner but Miah had to be to work by 9 so it wouldn't have left much time to hang out after putting the kids to bed. Sorry I didn't follow up with you ladies! hope you had a great time.
