Holiday Fun

The past two weeks have been so busy, I am just getting around to blogging. Christmas Eve morning we celebrated with just our family. The kids LOVED opening gifts this year. Since there birthday was only a few weeks ago they knew exactly what presents were and what to do with them. Owens favorite gift was a train and Kennedy's a the play kitchen we got them. Since they love to open presents I filled their stockings with things from the dollar store. They loved to open all the presents and most of the time just threw the gifts aside.


Kennedy sees the kitchen for the first time. Owen not fazed....he is loving his train.


Christmas Eve evening we went to my parents house for our family Christmas party. My brother Mike from Denver was unable to make it but Brandon was there from Chicago. We drew names this year so it was a lot of fun. Owen and Kennedy were of course very spoiled and loved opening more gifts. Owen reading the comics with Grandpa.

Christmas day we had Jeremiah's side of the family over. They brought the ham and we made all the sides. All the adults opened gifts and played bingo when the kids napped. When Owen and Kennedy woke up they had an entire living room full of gifts. Once again...totally spoiled by Grandpa and Grandma and Uncle Marc and Aunt Sonya.

On the 26th we had two Christmas parties for extended family. Owen and Kennedy had so much fun with my cousins baby Elle who is now six months old. What a cutie!!(sorry I only got pics of her head)

On the 27th Jeremiah and I took off for Pennsylvania for a week to spend more time with Sonya and Marc. They flew in for PA on the 23rd and drove home with us. We had a great time visiting with them and hope to plan another trip with the kids.We got home yesterday afternoon and we were both SOOO excited to see Owen and Kennedy. They were pretty excited to see us too which made me very happy. I was not sure how they would react after spending a whole week with Grandpa and Grandma......THANK YOU mom and dad for watching them!!!

Today we ran a few errands and took the kids to the mall to ride the carousel. They both LOVED it and had a small fit when it was time to go. Whew what a busy couple weeks. It feels good to be home and back into routine.
