Wild Chef

We went to a late lunch at Wild Chef today. For those of you who have never heard of it you MUST try it out. It is a great hibachi grill here in Holland. Jeremiah went into work at 6 today so he was out by 2. We thought the kids would be very entertained by all the cooking right and front of them and they were indeed! While waiting for the cook to come to our table however, we created quite the commotion. Owen spilled scalding hot soup all over my legs and threw a fit when we wouldn't let him play drums with his silverware. He is quite an abrupt little guy...sometimes we wonder why we even try to go out! It was a great time and we ARE glad we went. Once we got back from lunch me and the kids played outside for nearly 3 hours! I feel as if I am a goalie by the road but hopefully someday soon they will understand. All the neighbors were out so it was a great time for the kids and mom :)

mmm good soup!

WOW! look at that....Owen was mesmerized...

Seriously, you're daring! Good for you though and glad it went well!!

Rather than playing goalie, one thing that works for us is to park a car perpendicular to the driveway. That way the kids won't run into the road!!

Fun Fun!! try bringing plastic ware -- not as loud for drumming. Bring them over to our backyard -- far away from the road. Lots of fun things to find I am sure.

Ya, we have done that too! Yesterday they saw the neighbors across the street playing and now there is no snow on the grass it is like a never ending playing field.
