I can't believe my babies are 1 year old already! It seems like just yesterday that they entered into the world. Owen was sooo tiny he fit in Jeremiah's hand when he was curled up. He had just a little dark hair and dark gray eyes. He slept a lot and hardley cried! He loved to eat right from the start. Today Owen is a very busy guy. He loves Buddy the cat and followes him around the house. He also LOVES balloons as we discovered from their Birthday Party. He is getting better at walking and can make it across the room without trouble if nothing is in his way. He hates to be changed and puts up quite the struggle EVERY TIME.....this is why my back is so sore! He loves his veggies....especially green beans!! He loves to dance and tries to say "dance, dance". His vocabulary has increased he can now say, mama, dada, moo, vroom and his favorite saying is "what's this". Now, we don't know how that quite started....it was a few sounds mixed together but now that we repeat and tell him what something is we think he is really saying what's this. He is a VERY happy kid and he still loves to cuddle in the morning when he has his bottle...which I Love.
Kennedy is a fun and happy little girl. She is very sensitive and loves to be held. She is getting much better at walking. She also loves to eat probably a bit more than Owen and boy can she! With only 2 teeth it is amazing what she eats. She loves to dance as well but it a bit cautious when she feels unstable. She is pretty laid back and doesn't mind being changed or dressed most of the time. She loves looking at pictures especially of her and Owen. From the moment she wakes up till the time we put her in her crib she uses her little index finger to point at everything. She loves to be twirled and thinks it is hilarious when we smell her feet and say "stinky feet". She also loves music and brushing her teeth. Her vocabulary is: hi, mama, dada, moo, baa, woowoo and she tries several other words but they are not quite clear.
Jeremiah and I have enjoyed the past year with Owen and Kennedy so much! It has not been easy and we are busier than we every imagined but we wouldn't trade it for the world! We are very proud and happy parents! Owen 5 days old

They are such little blessing. Looking at the pictures from the hospital brings back so many memories for their first few months. They are so happy, healthy and smart! Happy 1 year!
Hey Heather! I saw on facebook that you were away for the weekend. Were you able to go away because of all money you are saving now that you don't have to buy formula?
