Butter, bugs and birthdays

Kennedy is now nearly 2.5 and she is still getting into EVERYTHING. As I was getting dressed one morning I hear Kennedy and Owen giggling very loudly and I knew it had to be trouble. I walked out to Kennedy saying "I go wash my hands O-wa (Owen). She had stuck her hand in the stick of butter we had on the table and attempted to paint a very nice picture on the table! There was butter EVERYWHERE her hair looked greasy for about a week! Owen was having fun to but preferred to scoop it up with a spoon.

Owen is all about bugs! We had some ants in our entry one morning and Owen sat there in his pj's for about a half hour just watching them. Today my mom even had to capture the spider that was in Kennedy's room so Owen could keep it in a jar as a pet :)

We had my parents and my brother Mike over for my mom's birthday last week. It was three years ago on her birthday that we surprised her with the news she was going to be a grandma:)

Friends from church gave us this sand box at the end of the summer last year. We hauled it out for the first time today and the kids were thrilled! I think we may need to have daddy build a big sand box one of these days:)

They are so cute! I am cracking up about the butter. I read your blog with a slight glimpse into my future with my 14 month old twins. All you can do is smile!!! They are too funny!!

:) That sandbox will get lots of good use! If you need help with a bigger sandbox, give Brian a call!
