Chicago

We had a great time visiting my brother Brandon in Chicago.....about a month ago now. We stayed at a hotel for the weekend and my parents and other brother came as well. We picked up the kids from school Friday morning and took off. From there we went to the Shedd aquarium. It was a quick trip but we had fun. The kids don't think dolphins jumping in front of them are as cool as we do. To their credit there was a lot of talking first.

Friday night Jeremiah and I went to my brothers show while Kennedy and Owen stayed with my parents in the hotel....they did great. Kennedy had gotten sick the previous Tuesday so we were not even sure if we would all stay healthy enough to go but apparently Kennedy took one for the team. Poor girl, she was so sick. It had been over 72 hours since she had last gotten sick but all the swimming got to her I guess because she got sick by the pool. Saturday she woke up feeling fine so we went to the Museum of Science and Industry...thanks to our friends Kristin and Eric for the free passes. We had a great time there and later that night while my parents and Mike went to Brandon's play we met up with Kristin, Eric, Milo and baby Leo for dinner. We had a great time!! Poor Kennedy got sick again that night in her sleep:( Poor girl..it made for a very disgusting smelling hotel room. The good news is she didn't even wake up.....poor girl!
Sunday Jeremiah headed home to go to bed (he had to work Sunday night) and my parents, Mike , the kids and I went to Ikea. It was a great weekend!!
