Dance Class & Aunt Sonya

I signed Owen and Kennedy up for a Mommy and Me dance class. We had our first class two weeks ago. After the first class it was very apparent that I was clearly not thinking straight when I thought I could handle both my kids by myself when all the other kids were one on one with one parent. Between time outs, bathroom breaks and me running around the room we did a few dance moves. I got smart and asked Aunt Sonya to come with us for week 2....it was much smoother but still not easy. I have not decided if we will go back for week three or not.

Kennedy loved dancing with Aunt Sonya

Aunt Sonya reading a bed time story. We don't get to see her often and this was the first time we saw her with a baby belly. Owen and Kennedy LOVED touching her belly and knowing a little girl cousin was there! We had so much fun with Aunt Sonya and even helped throw her a baby shower....pictures to come soon (hopefully!)

The kids had fun coloring Easter eggs. It is so much fun to experience their excitement in the simplest things...these are things that make being a parent that much more enjoyable and help you get through the bad moments;)

putting stickers on their eggs

Owen loves eating his colored eggs. Kennedy does not one to eat one because they are to pretty.

Sounds like they have been keeping your hands (and heart!) FULL! Thanks for sharing and know you are NOT alone! Being by myself, the potty thing (especially with Abby's challenges in this area) is enough to drive a parent crazy!! We have not tried any classes yet... But i would definintely plan on Jeff or someone else being with me just to make it less stressful, like you did. Maybe you should try the third week? Maybe they need to get used to the idea... :)
