We left Thursday around nap time and headed to Warren Dunes State Park. What a Great place to camp!!! We highly recommend it....it was beautiful and very clean! We knew the weather would be iffy so we were thankful my in-laws let us borrow their RV. Our Friends the Leeuws and the Flores' were meeting us on Friday for a fun filled weekend. Unfortunately, it got cut a little short because of the weather but we had lots of fun. Saturday ended up being a very rainy day and since rain and tents don't go well together our friends headed out late Saturday afternoon after our fun trip to a train museum. All the kids had a blast. Owen and Kennedy loved the train ride. As our train ride ended a smaller kids train pulled up and the kids wanted to ride that one too. They had a blast and are still talking about it.
All in all it was a great camping trip. There is nothing like sitting around a great campfire with friends! Last night after cleaning out the RV we had to return it to Grandpa and Grandma's house so we let Owen and Kennedy ride in it on the way there. They were so excited and were grinning ear to ear! Year by Year camping does get a little easier (in an RV at least)! Sleeping was still an issue but it wasn't terrible! I think we may even dare to camp again this summer.
